Paul & Anna's White Wonderland!

Thinking back on the time we spent together planning their wedding, we can only think of how sweet and loving Paul & Anna were. Their story begins at a party where Ana was performing as a Polynesian dancer. Paul immediately took to her talent and beauty. She noticed him and also became intrigued by this handsome guy. She is loving, patient, kind and has such a gentle demeanor to her. Paul did not stand a chance and  fell completely in love with her.  Luckily for Ana, Paul is also extremely sweet and kind, making them a wonderful couple to be around.  Paul is a Dentist and Ana a Registered Nurse. With their demanding careers they were always very busy, aside from the stress of being thousands of miles apart. Paul had moved back to his hometown of Texas and Ana stayed behind to finalize a few things before her big move. Luckily, they always made time for each other,  even with their busy schedules and planning their dream wedding!

Planning their wedding was so much fun! They had such great ideas and we loved nothing more than bringing their vision to life. They wanted a very modern but yet highly elegant wedding with lots of dramatic touches.  They chose an all white palette with touches of silver and ice blue for that pop of color.  They chose white linens and beautiful overlays that had hundreds of square iridescent sequins for a delicate and playful look. The silver chivari chairs with white peu de soie cushions fit perfectly with the winter look they were wanting to achieve.  The décor was stunning with thousands of crystals that adorned every centerpiece that was on display.  They used intelligent lighting which started with ice blue when guests walked into the ballroom, a deeper blue for dinner and then a wonderful mix for all the dancing. They had gobos throughout the room and an amazing backdrop created for the back wall behind their sweet heart table. The table looked fit for royalty and royalty they are!

There were quite a few favorite moments from their wedding! So many but to name a few: The Polynesian dancers, their 1st dance which was completely choreographed and most definitely the special dance Ana performed for groom. What an amazing night!

Thank you so much Paul & Anna for trusting us with such an unforgettable and priceless day in your lives. We enjoyed sharing phone calls, meetings, lunches at Pollo Tropical (LOL) and even just checking in to see how each of us were doing.  We are blessed to have met you both and thankful for the opportunity to witness this union that God has made.  We wish you both a lifetime of blessings and for God to continue to make you both an example for others! Xoxoxo

Henry and Alison’s Biltmore Wedding

South Florida has become a very popular location for destination weddings, especially in the last couple of years. Maybe it’s because of the gorgeous weather we get all year round or because of all the amazing choices in venues. Henry and Alison came to Miami looking for the perfect venue to host their wedding. They majority of their friends and family flew in from New York for their big day, so they really wanted it to be a complete experience.  When venue scouting we visited many hotels to ensure they chose the perfect one.  After a few visits to different hotels, they fell in love with the Biltmore Hotel.  They not only fell in love with the spaces it offered but also the rich history that it boasted. The Biltmore Hotel, is a National Historic Landmark built in 1926 and situated on 150 tropical acres, it’s located in Coral Gables and is one of the most prestigious and well known hotels in South Florida.

After the venue and church were booked everything else just fell into place nicely. The church was a simple decision for the two since they had both agreed on St. Francis De Sales in Miami Beach to host their Catholic ceremony. After securing their date for the two most important pieces of the wedding we tackled all the “fun stuff” like flowers, entertainment and Henry’s favorite the cake tasting. Planning with this couple was a walk in the park and a funny one at that. It was really nice having a groom present for all the meetings, especially one with such a kind demeanor who also shared in giving his opinions.

Their reception took place in the Alhambra room which has a gorgeous fire place in the middle of the room and a stunning ceiling which adds to the richness of the space.  We took full advantage of the space and incorporated some royal table seating as well as traditional rounds for the guest tables. Tables were dressed with gold overlay linens, napkins were silk in a French blue tone to match the gorgeous center pieces. They had two styles of floral arrangements, one was a Manzanita branch which had a base full of blue hydrangeas and the branches were adorned with hanging crystals and white orchids. The other style was a lush arrangement of blue hydrangeas with orchids that sat on top of a tall cylinder vase. The room came out spectacular, yeah to team effort! The reception was so much fun as “Luis Serrano and his Orchestra” did an awesome job at keeping the party going all night long!

From the bottom of my heart I want to wish this couple nothing but the very best and may they continue to have fun with everything they do as husband and wife. We loved being part of your special day and continue to wish the best for you and your family.
