This New York couple was by far one of our most fabulous duos
of all time. Stephanie & Chris planned their destination wedding months in
advance and couldn’t have been any happier with their Miami wedding. They wed
on March 17th which happened to fall on St. Patrick’s Day, they both
were the lucky ones to have all their
friends and family there to be witness to such a gorgeous event. There ceremony
and reception took place is the very beautiful VICEROY in Brickell, Miami.
Weather was absolutely perfect that day with blue skies and a nice cool breeze
to go along with it.
The overall feel for this wedding was modern, sexy, and
romantic but most importantly, FUN!! The décor was simple but gave such a great
balance to the eccentric décor of the hotel.
The ceremony took place outdoors facing a fireplace with a grand mantel
which made a great backdrop for the pictures. The bridal party all came down
the aisle with the romantic tunes of harp and violin playing in the background.
The brides’ bouquet was mostly peonies in a perfect shade of pink and the alter
arrangements stood tall consisting of willows, orchids and candles to add the
romantic element. Stephanie’s aunt, Johonne married the lovely couple and did
such an amazing job that we couldn’t hold back the tears. During the sand
ceremony the couple was serenated by Stephanie’s cousin, Nakisha who sang so
beautifully it gave us chills.
After the ceremony guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and some
signature cocktails created just for the bride and groom (guava mojitios)
YUUUM!! When the night hit it was time to take the party to The Great Room
where the room was dressed to impress. Tables were draped in French blue
bengaline linens with matching napkins. Silver chivary chairs and ivory
cushions played a nice roll in making the room look extremely elegant and the
silver glass beaded chargers tied it all in. The focal point of the tables was
definitely the lush floral arrangements. There were two different arrangements,
both unique and stunning, hard to pick a favorite.
Dinner was delicious and not just your average chicken or
fish. Guest had the pleasure of enjoying duel plating which featured roasted
chicken with spiced corn, yogurt and pistachio & Salmon a la plancha topped
with Greek salad and paired with wild greens and potato puree. Yummy!! After
dinner everyone enjoyed a slice of one of these 3 delicious flavors of cake,
pina colada, banana cheesecake, or marble Godiva. After this feast the last
thing left to do was dance the night away which they did like professionals!
Party went on till the lights were turned up and DJ had to pull the plug. It
was a blast to see how much fun this family had together, it was a sneak peak
of what the parties will look like for these two, for years to come.
It was an honor to be part of this beautiful couple’s very
special day. I wish them all the happiness in the world!

Thank you so much darling!! We were blessed ourselves to have a fabulous planner to help us make the day everything we wanted it to be an more. xoxo
