This power couple will forever be remembered as one of our
favorites. These two couldn't be more perfect for each other, starting with the
fact that they are both lawyers, they are also both so smitten about each
another it was really a breath of fresh air to see a couple so in love. When
Renee and Manny came to us, they really felt so overwhelmed they didn't really know
where to begin. Manny was trying to be the good fiancée and help with whatever
he could but it was kind of hard to help when he really had no clue on how to
begin to plan a wedding, he definitely got an A+ for effort!
When the planning began the groom was very nervous because
the only word that would come out of our bride’s mouth was, PINK!! Of course
that would worry any groom but we reassured him that the pink would be done
tastefully and that even he would LOVE it. Luckily after visiting with the
linen company we came to the perfect compromise and incorporated a masculine
color for the groom to feel at ease. We decided to make the colors of this
wedding navy blue with just the right amount of splash of the vibrant pink the
bride was obsessed with. It all came together very beautifully and the groom
actually ended up liking the whole decorating aspect of the wedding.
After their ceremony which took place at Coral Gables
Congregational Church, all the guests were invited to the beautiful ballroom at
Douglas Entrance for a night full of dancing and good times. The room was
illuminated nicely with pink up-lights and candles for days. Tables were
dressed in classic navy blue triple pin tuck linens and silver chivari chairs
tied it all in beautifully. The center pieces were breath taking with vibrant
pink and white flowers that really made the room pop. When the bride and groom
made their way into the reception for the first time it brought tears to their
eyes and at that moment we felt like our job had been done. They couldn't have
been any happier J
As much as we miss you guys, we are so happy to know the
fairytale has just begun. We love you both and hope you enjoy the many years of
bliss to come!
